Katie chats to queer singer, writer, pianist, activist and blogger Amanda Palmer on the phone from her home in the USA about her new album, There Will Be No Intermission. Since 2015 Amanda has produced songs, films, performance projects, art and photography supported by thousands of people via her Patreon, and she tells Katie how that has given her the freedom to create without having to worry about ‘selling’ her creations in traditional ways.
