In the second hour of her Radiothon 2022 show, Katie welcomes Lisa Edwards, the popular and highly respected Australian vocalist who has been performing with John Farnham and his band for 35 years. As a solo artist, Lisa’s debut single, ‘Cry’ (1993), was an Australian no.5 hit and reached Gold status, and she has an awesome new album out called I’m Still the Woman. Katie and Lisa chat about Lisa’s fabulous career, the new album, and Lisa’s philosophy of life, ‘Let there be more joy and laughter in your living’, while raising money to keep Australia’s only rainbow, independent community media organisation out, loud and proud. Here is the playlist:
- Cry – Lisa Edwards
- I Am Woman – Lisa Edwards
- A Song for You – Donny Hathaway
- I’m Still the Woman – Lisa Edwards
- Ain’t No Stopping Us Now – Spice Girls ft. Luther Vandross
- When You Love Me Like That – Lisa Edwards
