Matt Joe Gow & Kerryn Fields – Show #322 (part 2), 28 April 2024

Katie welcomes the very classy, very sexy duo of Matt Joe Gow and Kerryn Fields to the studio for a chat about their shared Aotearoa/NZ background, the joys of being based in the hub of live music that is Narrm/Melbourne, Matt’s nomination for Best Country Artist at the 2024 Aotearoa Music Awards, Kerryn’s new solo EP The Folk Singer, the power of networking and friendship at music festivals, and, their debut album as a duo, I Remember You, and its launch on 3 May at the Brunswick Ballroom. Matt and Kerryn perform two of the album tracks live in the JOY studio, too! Here is the playlist:

  • These Words of Mine – Katherine Priddy
  • Your Heart of Gold – Matt Joe Gow & Kerryn Fields
  • No Trace (live in the studio) – Matt Joe Gow & Kerryn Fields
  • Calamity Jane – Grant-Lee Phillips
  • Bird Bones – Georgie Winchester
  • Whirlwind (live in the studio) – Matt Joe Gow & Kerryn Fields
