Phia | Melbourne Indie Voices – Show #176 (part 2), 8 November 2020

Music

Melbourne Indie Voices is a choir with 240 regular members, founded and led by local musicians Phia and Joshua Teicher. Katie welcomes Phia back to the show to have a chat about the choir’s forthcoming debut album, Live at the Forum, and about keeping rehearsals going during Melbourne’s lockdown. You’ll hear a couple of songs from the album, along with new releases by some famous artists and some not-so-famous-but-just-as-great artists! Here is the playlist:

  • Blood Type – Howlite
  • Hard Femme in Argyle – Chloe Alison Escott
  • I Miss You More on Sundays – Stephen Grady
  • Heartstrings – Phia
  • The Seed – Melbourne Indie Voices
  • Nameless, Faceless – Melbourne Indie Voices
  • The Absence of You – Tim Minchin
  • Uluru Statement from the Heart / Come On Down – Midnight Oil ft. Troy Cassar-Daley
  • A Beautiful Noise – Alicia Keys & Brandi Carlile

Visit Melbourne Indie Voices’ official website and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
