Corey Irlam, media spokesperson for the Australian Coalition for Equality joins us to explain the newly formed Parliamentary Friendship Group formed with representatives from all sides of Government. The group will champion issues such as aged care, trans and intersex equality, estate planning and retirement. Greens Senator, Sarah Hanson-Young is one of the parliamentarians involved and she joins us to discuss how our community will benefit from the formation of this group. Australian Marriage Equality’s National Convenor, Alex Greenwich tells us what he got up to in Canberra a week ago and he also delivers his thoughts on the “Gay Gestapo†comments made by Kevin Rudd’s sister, Loree Rudd. Then we change pace to discover the emergence of a new Gay & Lesbian Leather organisation being formed. Nathan Niessen, spokesperson for this new leather group reveals he has strong support from key stakeholders. And Vascoe Myer gets down and dirty with his entertainment report.
