With two elections taking place this weekend, in the Victorian by-election for the seat of Niddrie and Queensland State Election, we speak with the convenor of the Australian Sex Party, Fiona Patten, who has candidates in both elections. Christian Democrat Peter Madden has been heading north from Sydney with a moving billboard denigrating homosexuality. The truck stopped in Lismore last weekend and met with quite a lot of local opposition. Today we speak with the Mayor of Lismore Cr Jenny Dowell for her opinion of Mr. Madden’s truck. Dr Mark Stoove head HIV research at Burnet Institute talks about his work and the City Romp fundraiser being held this weekend and James Findlay joins us for his UK report.
