On The Line today, JOY’s own Rainbow Reporter Doug Pollard joins Dean to discuss the latest developments regarding The Australian Christian Lobby. Prolific in their video productions, the ACL’s latest campaign is a very slick animation presumably made by Screencraft – a media production company based in the ACT and headed by Michael Fardell. Michael’s links to the Australian Christian Lobby are vast and include radio, tv and video production and on-line multimedia campaigns. His company holds many Federal and Territory Government contracts. This poses the question….are our tax dollars subsidising the propaganda of the Australian Christian Lobby??? Then Pete Dillon and Serena Ryan from Salt & Pepper on JOY review the PR debacle that transpired following two interviews Major Andrew Craib conducted with JOY a week earlier. Our final guest this week is Michael James from community radio station Switch 1197 in Queensland. Michael is the guy who appeared on the “Rip ‘N Roll” sexual health poster in Queensland. That campaign was highly criticised by Wendy Francis from the ACL, so it was a huge surprise when she phoned into his radio show earlier this week.
