On The Line today we begin by re-capping an interview that Pete Dillon and Serena Ryan conducted with Lisa Daniel from Melbourne Queer Film Festival. MQFF had been subletting space from the ALSO Foundation until recently. What they discovered following ALSO’s departure from the building can only be described as the ‘Great Rental Swindle’ of 2012. The we speak to Travis de Jonk, Melbourne editor of samesame.com.au who broke the story. Peter Stevenson from GLOBE phoned in to reveal he had been trying to contact ALSO Board members to offer a life-line to the as-yet unseen ALSO Directory for 2012. Dean catches up with Brad Monaghan, the Editor-In-Chief of a new queer magazine AXN-Cult. Then our roving reporter Dougal Austin catches up with the Captain of the Qantas A380 that had lost an engine over Indonesia.
