Following the Equal Marriage Bill being defeated in the House Of Representatives yesterday, we are joined by Carl Katter and avid Marriage Equality campaigner Shelley Argent AO, National spokesperson for PFLAG, for their thoughts on what happens next. Prime Minister Julia Gillard has voiced her support of gay rugby. Founder of the Sydney Convicts and Chairman of the bid for the 2014 Bingham Cup, Andrew Purchas joins us to discuss Australia’s submission to host the World’s largest gay rugby tournament. Then Melbourne Chargers President Sam Minter and the organisation’s founder Ben Lancken join us to discuss homophobia in sport and the Purchas Cup being held in Brisbane this weekend.
