Jorge was born in Lima, Peru. His parents both came from towns up in the Andean mountains region. His paternal grandfather came from Spain,and there was Spanish ancestry on his mothers side as well. Jorge explains why his family had to leave Peru during political upheavals and how he finally settled in Melbourne. He also talks about his “coming out” process, his love of his country of birth, and now being torn between two homes… Australia and Peru.
