Jason is an ex army officer (Major), who joined when it was not possible for gay men to be in the armed forces. Jason walks us through his life in the Army, getting married, and then coming out as being gay to his fellow officers. He has since left his military service, but remains an Army Reservist. He also indicates that it is relatively easy to be an out gay man in today’s Australian Army.
