DJ Sveta is a well-known dance party DJ in Australia, but who also has had gigs in a number of other countries around the world. Lesser-known by many is that Sveta comes from a Russian-Jewish family, and her family had to escape from the Ukraine during the tough USSR period of Russian history. In this program Sveta tells of her life, the move to Australia from Ukraine and via Italy when she was 6 years old, her interest in DJ’ing and music, and her eventual coming out.
