Nicolas comes from Bogota, the capital of Colombia. Here is a very dedicated and intelligent young man who is very loving of his country, for all its problems with poverty, and of course the well-known international drug trade. Six months ago, Nicolas arrived in Melbourne for a short university course as part of an exchange program. He talks about life in his country, its problems, and about his own coming out as a young gay man there. Nicolas actually left Australia just after Christmas, so this interview was recorded a few days before Christmas.
