As a GLBTIQ multicultural program, Orange Ribbon not only covers nationalities and ethnicities, but also religion as being yet another type of culture. In this program we speak with Michael & Colin, members of the Jewish GLBTIQ support group, Aleph Melbourne. We cover a brief history of Israel, attitudes to homosexuality in the Jewish community, gay & lesbian films/vidoes with an Israeli/Jewish theme, its cultures and traditions, conflicts and contradictions, and how it treats its GLBTIQ community members.
