Apparently the cost of owning a dog over its lifetime can cost you up to $25,000. Cats cost slightly less but also live longer than dogs, so will set you back about the same as owning a dog.
Adding that furry friend to your family can give you companionship, love and exercised but can you afford one?
The OWLS discuss their recent pet related debt. Sue shares stories of sick and moody chickens and Lisa discusses the decision to undertake costly dentistry work opposed to dog halitosis.
Also is Pet Insurance a scam or a good investment?
Only in true OWLS fashion can you get a balanced and humorous take on the serious subjects in life.
Also, don’t forget if you would like Lisa and Sue cover a topic, why don’t you get in touch with us on owls@joy.org.au we would love to hear from you. Also why don’t you subscribe via I-Tunes, give us a rating (which will bump up our podcast in the I-Tunes store).
