They make us laugh out loud with their natural comedic abilities, exude confidence sometimes to the point of arrogance, are independent but still love your company (only on their terms of course) and have a knack for ridding your home of creepy crawlies you’d rather leave in their paws!
On Pets-A-Loud this we wave the feline flag loud and proud!
The Lost Dogs’ Home cares for over 31,000 cats and dogs each year and a significant portion of the intake are cats. Currently at the Home’s North Melbourne Shelter (as of May 3) there are more than 100 cats eager to be adopted into a loving home.
We speak with Cat Shelter Manager Karina Bailey about why there are so many cats and hang out with 3-year-old “Chip” (ID: 930 777) who has been waiting to be adopted since January this year.
Also on Pets-A-Loud:
– We hear from an all-rounder volunteer, foster carer and proud adopter of two dogs and former residents of The Lost Dogs’ Home
– We do a live cross with Melaine Robinson from National Pet Register to get the latest from the Dog Lover Show is Melbourne,
– And, Alan sheds some light on misconceptions around desexing.
