Sharing your home with a four-legged friend can be one of life’s greatest joys. Dogs, cats and other pets give us unconditional love, loyalty and acceptance.

However, making the decision to adopt a dog or cat is a big one. Caring for an animal goes beyond providing food, water and shelter. Potential pet owners need to do some thinking and research to make sure their new pet is the right one for their lifestyle.
