Pop Queers: Ep 24: Lucy Maunder vs John O’Hara

This week on Pop Queers is a battle of theatre juggernauts as Lucy Maunder takes on Joy’s John O’Hara. They cover all topics from babies to musical theatre in a close fight for a anime rodent personal cooling device.

Lucy Maunder has dazzled Australian audiences starring in Beautiful: the Carol King Musical, Matilda, and is currently Mrs Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which is heading up to Brisbane after a sensational Melbourne run. Melburnians needn’t fear though because she will soon be back with the MTC production of Fun Home running from the 15th July to the 15th of August in the Playhouse!

John O’Hara is also currently gracing Australia’s stages as Ned Schneebly in School of Rock, which is headed to Adelaide for the last run of the tour. However, when not tied up by busy perfomance schedules John graces the airwaves here at Joy previously co-hosting Sunday Arts Magazine. This Friday the 6th of March he’s performing in his very own show #VAL at Chillout which you’ll catch in the circus tent.
