Jamila is the Deputy Managing Director of Future Women where she is committed to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces. She is also a best selling author for both children and adults, an opinion columnist for The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald, and co-host of The Briefing podcast.
April became Australia’s first plus-sized model to appear in a bikini on a billboard in 2021 and is a champion for racial equality, LGBTQ inclusion, sex positivity, and fat liberation.
