The Squeamer chats over the phone with Chris Gibson the Producer of the film Apocalyptic…this is the movie we have been talking about for some time and it debuts in Melbourne at the Monster Fest the home of Horror genre movies and other diabolic cinema creations!
It’s all dark and mysterious, ominous and Culty…hmmm we LIKE the sound of that! ( and beautifully shot here in Victoria the Land of Oz !)
What is Apocalyptic:
‘While visiting the compound of doomsday cult in rural Victoria, journalist Jodie Black and her cameraman Kevin Horner bear witness to the activities of the Bytheranians and their charasmatic leader Michael Godson, who claims to be a God made flesh. Unable to maintain a professional distance from Gordon’s followers, Jodie finds herself torn between filming their final days, and doing everything she can to save them.
Director Glenn Triggs is a Guest of the Fest and will introduce the film and participate in a Q&A after the screening’
