Sonja The Squeamer fills up the studio with comics enthusiasts The Melbourne LGBT Comic Book Group and Ben Hutcho with his new comic ( 8 years of hard labour!) Iron Bard Ballisto! What is the Iron Bard all about? Well, listen to find out as his creator_ the leader of Squishface Studio in Brunswick’s Ben tells you about it’s history and about the launch day this Saturday the 28th of November 2015.

The gang from The Melbourne LGBT Comic Book Group including the return of Haydn and Owen and newbies to the show Tess and Robyn, chat about this months meet up at Hares and Hyenas ( Monday the 30th of November ) and the them of The Young Avengers and their queerness.

If you do love these things (or are yet to realise it) come to the launch of such a work, Iron Bard Ballisto by Ben Hutcho on Saturday November 28 from 3pm at Squishface Studio.

Hutcho has been working on this graphic novel for most of his life. So come along and see the culmination of his efforts, plus you can get it signed and sketched on, eat some free food, drink some free drinks, look at pretty stuff on the studio walls, and/or have a chat to people.

There could be other surprises happening on the day. And no doubt, there’ll be an afterparty of some kind. It’s all a bit vague at the moment, but what’s not vague is that you need to get to the launch of the one of the greatest Australian comic books ever made using blue tones.’

Also Sonja chats with film maker Ursula Dabrowsky about her second feature horror film Inner Demon and it’s recent release on DVD through Aussie distributor Deadhouse Films.
