AND THE EVENT FEB 21st :

February is Women In Horror Month and every year it gets bigger and better than ever.

This Feb 2014, we are holding a fundraising gig which would include special guests, live acts and short film screenings.

With funds raised, we wish to donate to a charity that deals with domestic violence and sexual assault against women, WESTcasa.

All the while, promoting women’s involvement in the genre of horror and exploitation through this controversial, yet artistic platform.

The event is to be held 7 pm, Friday Feb 21, 2014 at Bar 291 Albert Street Brunswick, Melbourne Victoria.

Special guests include…

ISABEL PEPPARD Butterflies – a stop motion animation

BRIONY KIDD & REBECCA THOMSON – Stranger With My Face Horror Film Festival.

Fangtastical make up artist and writer/director for M is for MUFF,
MIA’KATE RUSSELL shall be screening her ABC’s of Death special edition short for us all on the big screen!!

Melbourne based director DONNA McRAE, who made the sensational film Johnny Ghost (https://www.facebook.com/events/245856612255305/?fref=ts) will also be joining us on the evening to hopefully tell us more about an new all female horror anthology coming soon.

AMBER BAMBY – Actress will be also attending the event to talk with us about all things MURDERDROME! Along with Director DANIEL ARMSTRONG, we will be screening a special teaser for the roller derby slasher along with some giveaways from MONSTER PICTURES.

Miserys Malice of TRASHARAMA and Miserymalice’s Shooting Spree (who has also been kind enough to donate prints featuring a brand new photography concept that relates directly to our cause.

Trashing the perception of perfection with garters, beer and cherry red lipstick BURLESQUE PERFORMER, Dallas Vandal will be just one of the awesome acts in between SCREAMings!!

We are also oh so lucky to have Melbourne Gorelesque’s own and Australian Burlesque darling, Betty Blood!!!

3CR’s own Girrls Radio Offensive, STINKY GIRRL DALE, along with the eternally gore-jus Horror pin up/actress SKYE MEDUSA will be our host’s with the most, rocking the MC and keeping us on out toes!
