Mark introduced us to Chanukah, the Jewish festival of light.
We spoke to Avril Hannah-Jones and Sandy Brodine about Blue Christmas services which provide space for people facing grief or sadness at this time of year. Blue Christmas services are held at various churches around Melbourne, including:
- Williamstown Uniting Church (Electra St) – Sunday 13 December at 7:30pm
- Banyule Network of Uniting Churches – Wednesday 23 December at 7:30pm
