Tonight we had the studio filled with 3 generations of gay men. We took a look back at homosexuality through the last four decades and also how the future might look.
I was joined by the Australian Lesbian & Gay Archives president Graham Willett, who came out in 1979 at the age of 23, Along with JOY’s Q Country host, Chris Snow and to provide a slightly younger perspective, Billy Rowland and Nelson Barber.
We chatted about the changes in acceptance, decriminalisation & the inclusion throughout the broader community.
Is it better to be gay in 2015 ? That is the question.
You can listen to Q Country here on JOY 94.9 on Sundays 11 to 1.
