This week’s awesome SHSQ guest, Andrew Foster, shares his amazing life experience so far and the tough lessons he’s learned. After being rejected by his mother for being gay, Andrew faced the AIDS epidemic on the front line, nursing his dying partner and supporting our ravaged community through the physical and social horrors of the disease.

Now retired from his career in publishing and landscaping, he gets to devote more time to his lifelong love of painting.
