What? There’s no Emma Thompson or 80’s music this week? In the spirit of new-years eve, the Strictly team decided a change of scene was needed and so this week’s show is all about The Age Of Adaline. Adaline has an accident and is then hit by lightning on New Years Eve in the 1930s and miraculously survives but stops ageing. While many might think this the secret to a happy life, she faces a life alone, watching those she loves age and be unable to know her truth. Its a great film with a soundtrack dating from the 50s to now. Come along for the ride as we play Ella Fitzgerald, Jefferson Airplane, The Skyliners, Bob Dylan and The Antlers.
