Strictly Soundtracks

24 Mar 2025

Invisible Boys

Music, Society & Culture, Soundtrack, TV & Film

This is a really special episode of Strictly Soundtracks, probably the first in which the author of the content appears as a guest. Paul and John discuss the series Invisible Boys, based on Holden Sheppard’s book of the same name. Holden was so generous with his time and talked us through the music in the series as well as his novel and how music has played an important part of his life. It’s a fascinating interview and we thank Holden for his time and passion. You’ll hear music from Green Day, Pearl Jam, Alanis Morissette, Rancid and Nick Cave, and then Kylie, The Presets and Perfume Genius. Do yourselves a favour and listen to this one a couple of times.
