On today’s program David and Brendan discuss an iconic Australian personality and character actor Frank Thring and the recent death of a highly influential UK singer, promoter and fashion icon Steve Strange who died on 13 Feb 2015. Brendan reviews the films The Interview and The Theory of Everything.

Dean Arcuri is an all-around artist: singer, dancer, actor and photographer and has been doing Cabaret for the last 8 years in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. He talks about cabaret and how this year’s show at Midsumma was more collaborative and expressed more social consciousness.
Tim Parrish is the director of the Transitions Film Festival largely at Cinema Nova until 6th March 2015. In its 4th year, this festival provides a vehicle for films that otherwise would not be seen. It celebrates transformation in environmental and social areas and focuses on solutions and a fresh way of viewing things.
Ewan McEoin is a design consultant and has many hats, with film-making being a recent one. His collaborative documentary ‘Fair Food’ will show on 4th March 2015 at the Transitions Film Festival and focuses on the push to change our broken food system to a fairer alternative. He talks about the process of film-making.
