David is back with Brendan this week while Neil’s having a break. Brendan reviews 3 films this week, saving his favourite to the end. First is John Wick Chapter 2 with Keanu Reeves. Brendan loved the first John Wick but this one fell flat–2 stars. Next is an Irish queer film called Handsome Devil set in a boarding school. It’s nothing new and too ‘middle of the road’ for Brendan–3 stars. Brendan’s favourite film this week is a classic tale called Neruda about a Nobel Prize-winning Chilean poet. It is very funny with interesting people, stunning music and beautiful landscapes–3.5 stars.
