Director, Jennifer Dean and co-star, Gig Clarke came to Sunday Arts Magazine to talk about their latest project, The Haunting.
Jennifer has crafted a haunted Victorian world with the help of John Kerr (Set Design) and Jason Bovaird (Lighting Design) where nothing and no-one can be trusted. You are hypnotically drawn slowly into the sceptical minds of the two characters, and lured into a false sense of security – the perfect victims for chills and jump-scares a plenty.
Gig Clarke (The Code, Rake) plays the seemingly tentative yet curious David Filde and delivers the character and his stories with perfectly executed stress and anxiety – perhaps symbolising Dickens’ own obsession with the supernatural world.
