Men on Men Art Competition 2017 grand prize winner Jimmy Twin came in to talk to Sunday Arts Magazine about his background, love of art and his winning painting ‘Grief’ (acrylic & Ink on canvas).
“‘Grief’ explores the engulfing emotions we all go through at some stage in our lives.” Jimmy said, “My mother passed away unexpectedly recently and she was not only my biggest support, but she was also one of my best friends.”
The Laird’s Men on Men is an annual exhibition and competition, welcoming male-identifying artists from all cultures, backgrounds and histories to submit works expressing their experiences, desires and identity.
