This week Brendan talks about three movies he saw that were worlds apart.
The firs
t film is a coming out story that follows two teenage girls wrestling with their sexuality at a Los Angeles high school, The First Girl I Loved.
The subject matter of the second movie, Una, is slightly darker and about a young woman who goes to an older man’s workplace looking for answers to their shared past.
The third is all about cats, that is street cats that live in Istanbul. Some are wild and fend for themselves, while others are tamer and are cared for by people. Kedi focuses on seven of these cats and the people who interact with them.
