Kirsten von Bibra, Director and Darcy Kent, Actor talks to David, Neil and John about the current production of Venus in Furs. It is a mysterious, funny and erotic play by David Ives that involves a director/playwright, Thomas and actress, Vanda who starts to blur the line between play and reality while working work through a script. They enter into an increasingly serious game of submission and domination that only one of them can win.
Directed by Kirsten von Bibra and starring Darcy Kent and Tilly Legge, Venus in Fur by David Ives is a whip-smart exploration of sexual politics, gender and power through the lens of sadomasochism. It is on at 45 Downstairs from 9 March to 24 March.
