Stephanie Lake, Choreographer and Christina Chan, Dancer came into Sunday Arts Magazine to talk about their latest project, Replica.
Replica is the non-narrative story of two people travelling a winding road together. It studies their similarity and differences while the audience bears witness to the intersection of the two dancers who need each other to create the work but also rail against their interdependence. Along the way they navigate friction, aggression, tenderness and complicity.
Replica is on at the Northcote Town Hall from 25 April to May 5.
