Artist/Photographer Pamela Reid joins the Sunday Arts Magazine team and reveals her creative journey through “Urban Eyes” an initiative supported by the City of Stonnington, Melbourne.
Pamela Reid invited people around Stonnington (Prahran/Windsor) to paint: spontaneously, unstructured, ‘no rules’ art.
Laying out canvases, paints and brushes, Pamela encouraged passers-by, shoppers, families, whoever was willing to ‘give it a go’. As they painted, Pamela captured the community photographically.
The completed works: 60 pieces of art and photography with their own representative story will be featured in the foyer gallery at Chapel off Chapel.
