If you want new plays and new stories to flourish then we need to let producers learn the craft of making money, of show business. But instead of hoping that we and what we are proving can work goes away, the industry would do better to embrace it, for in the long run it is the entire industry who could benefit as instead of trolling through loads of scripts looking for one that they hope will work they can send out scouts to these travelling suburban plays to pick up whatever is working.
