Sunday Arts Magazine: Angelina Nicole and Judy Leech

Two inspiring dancers speak with David at Sunday Arts Magazine about their interests and careers in dance.

Angelina Nicole came to Melbourne from California U.S.A. Angelina started dancing at the early age of three years. After rigorous training in Ballet in Los Angeles, she moved to San Francisco in 1995 where she taught, performed and choreographed before coming to Australia in 2015. She is currently a member of Fine Line Dance and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance.

Judy Leech also started dancing early in life at the age of twelve years. She participated in dance classes at Dance House in Melbourne. When Dr Katrina Rank, Artistic Director of Fine Lines, commenced leading classes in Fine Lines dancing, which is tailored especially towards experienced dancers aged more than fifty years, Judy joined these classes, and has been participating in these classes for ten years.

Fine Lines recently presented “TEMPUS:” a series of short dance works about time and memory; about the time we have on this planet and what we decide to do with this time.
