Bec Cooen joins David and Eve on Sunday Arts Magazine to discuss the Block Party Extravaganza in Fitzroy.
Bec started as a performer at the Flying Fruit Fly Circus. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Contemporary Arts; Drama, Staging and Photography from Deakin University. She is a multi-disciplinary arts professional who works through contracted and seasonal events. Her roles are predominantly in production, programming, festival and events logistics, site and stage management.
Bec is now Project and Program Manager with Victoria’s Pride at the Fitzroy Block Party Extravaganza. This event is part of the 2024 Midsumma Festival and takes place on Gertrude and Smith Streets, Fitzroy, on 11th February.
