Eve and David welcome Stephanie Lee, Theatre Director, to Sunday Arts Magazine, to chat about her background and current show.
Stephanie Lee found a love for music theatre after watching the stage production of “The Lion King” when a young child. She involved herself in musical theatre, albeit chorus line roles, right throughout her high school and university years. She graduated with a Master of Theatre Directing from the Victorian College of the Arts. Over the last couple of years Stephanie has worked in Melbourne as a director, writer, stage manager and production manager.
Stephanie is now Director of “Home Economics”, which is a remount of her graduation show. “Home Economics” will be playing at Theatreworks: Explosives Factory during Midsumma 2024, from 30th January to 3rd February.
