Sunday Arts Magazine welcomes Tottie Goldsmith(OAM) to the studio for a compelling chat about her background and upcoming show.
Tottie, daughter of Melbourne restaurateur and nightclub owner, Brian Goldsmith and British-born actress Rona Newton-John, started her career at an early age as a dancer. After an injury she turned to acting. In 1986 she was a founding member of the popular group, The Chantoozies. Her career has now spanned across music, theatre, film, television and radio. She has thus become one of Australia’s best known and memorable entertainment personalities. Tottie was awarded Goodwill Ambassador in 2019 for her fifteen years commitment to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre. In 2020 she was awarded an OAM for her contribution to the charity.
Today she chats about the upcoming show “Hopelessly Devoted”. Olivia Newton-John is Tottie’s maternal aunt. Tottie will be hosting the show, “Hopelessly Devoted”, which is a celebration of Olivia’s life and legacy.
“Hopelessly Devoted ” will be performing at Hammer Hall between 7 – 9th March, bringing some of Australia’s greatest talents, together with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
