Sunday Arts Magazine: Andrew Gyopar

Arts

“Putting together a production like Sound of Music is hard, but it’s incredibly rewarding”. Andrew Gyopar on Sunday Arts Magazine, February 2024.

A not to be missed episode of Sunday Arts Magazine. Today the Sunday Arts Magazine team interview Andrew Gyopar, producer of the upcoming Rodgers and Hammerstein play: “Sound of Music”.
Andrew started in radio in 1992 and has been presenting and producing radio ever since. More recently he started producing theatre.

Themes of love, family, support, and turmoil are still as relevant today as they were in the 1950s when the “Sound of Music” was written, and back when it was in the 1930s.

“Sound of Music” previews tonight, 29th February, and 1st March. Opening night is the 2nd March with the play running through until 17th March for a strictly limited season. “Sound of Music” is staging at The National Theatre in St Kilda in Melbourne. To purchase tickets go to https://theatrical.com.au/buy now.

A listen to this episode is a must. Not only does it speak about “Sound of Music”, it also hints about other popular productions coming up later
this year at the National Theatre.

A Sunday Arts Magazine out of this word; simply a must.
