Hardware Freedom Day

Today we discussed Hardware Freedom Day – a worldwide event focussing on the freedom to design and construct stuff in the real world.  We had Jon Oxer in as a guest to talk to us about his efforts in the Arduino project, specifically on ArduSat, and other excellent initiatives that promote freedom to innovate in hardware.  We also discussed the latest news, including Google Android predicted to reach 1 billion activations by the end of the year.  And, recent Java security updates.
