TPG Cherry Picking, iOS7 and the new iPhone, Leap Motion, Blackberry Messenger and Telstra wrapped over the knuckles

Technology

In the studio this week Mark, Raena and MichaelĀ chatted about gadgets, technology and all things shiny.

Hot on the heels of the recent election, TPG are pushing boundaries of the anti-cherry picking laws introduced with the NBN and are looking to provide fibre direct to the home in built up areas. New iPhone and iOS had the Technogaze crew in uber drool mode, whilst reinforcing their Apple fanboy beliefs over recent touch screen speed tests conducted between iPhone and Android.

In the news, the Leap Motion controller is now embedded in the latest HP notebook, Blackberry Messenger released for iOS and Android as Blackberry slashes its workforce. Nintendo is saddened by the loss of its former president and Telcos were in the news with ACMA formally warning Telstra and Belgium’s national carrier Belgacom infected by complex malware.
