XBox One and DRM in the broader context, the Internet of Things, free speech vs good taste

In this show Avi, Donna and Mark discussed the XBox One and their backdown from  consumer pressure over Microsoft’s proposed DRM and restrictive licensing arrangements.  We also discussed the state of DRM in a broader context, including how it is applied today in various forms, and what this means in particular for people with reduced eye sight.  We talked about the Internet of Things, with a particular interest in various WiFi-enabled lighting options for the home. We also went into controversial territory, discussing the ideals of free speech vs. good taste and basic human rights.
