Well it is 2 days to go the Olympics in Rio and Stuart is somewhere on a cruise of the Mediterranean!

We are talking tennis with the final warm up events in Toronto for the men and Montreal for the women. We have a glimpse at the opening ceremony and talk past mascots. We reveal the 43 out GLBTI athletes going to the Games. Aussies are still finding problems with the standard of the Olympic Village – Basketballer Andrew Bogut the latest to show his displeasure. On a lighter note, we talk Games Mascots.

In other sports news we talk about the Cricket loss in Sri Lanka, Jason Day’s near runner up in the US PGA, the final of the Trans Tasman Netball League and Daniel Riccardo’s second placing in the German Formula One Grand Prix.

Finally, Malcolm talks to Robyn Saultry about being an athlete coping with Diabetes.
