Chuck Mallett and John Muirhead Interview

Music

US born Chuck Mallett met Melbourne born John Muirhead (pictured at rear with Robert Tripolino and Spanky) in London in the early 1960s. Chuck was the inaugural music director for Sir Laurence Olivier’s National Theatre and has worked with Judi Dench, Glynis Johns and Angela Lansbury, and was a great fan of Maria Callas. John performed in the original London production of “Boys in the Band“. Here they tell us a few stories about working in London.
