What price PrEP? Darryl O’Donnell Interview

On The Informer we dug deeper to understand the disappointing news that government advisers have delayed a decision to support subsidy of the HIV prevention drug commonly known as PrEP.

What we discover is that the delay appears to be due to uncertainties about how many individuals are likely to want to use this HIV prevention tool – and we also picked up some insights into how the pricing and licensing of PrEP drugs is an international issue.

In the first of two interviews Ian spoke to Darryl O’Donnell, CEO of the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations.
