The birth certificate bill passes – but what did they say in Parliament?

There was a lot of debate in the Victorian Parliament this past fortnight over the Births, Deaths and Marriages amendment bill. The bill, which would allow someone to alter their Victorian birth certificate to a different sex without having to undergo surgery. We’re joined by Mama Mish from Trans POV who provides reactions to excerpts from speeches in Parliament by Jane Garrett, Samantha Ratnam, Harriet Shing, Louise Staley, Catherine Cumming and Bernie Finn.
