Taiwan legalises same-sex marriage & Shannon Molloy controversy

It’s a massive news day for The Informer team as they cover everything from breaking news in Taiwan to controversy within Australia’s LGBTI community.

Shannon gets emotional as she crosses live to Taiwan just moments after the Constitutional Court’s ruling is handed down and will pave the way to same-sex marriage. She speaks to leading marriage equality advocate, Wayne Lim, about why the ruling was so important.

The team then talks to some of the most vocal people in the debate around whether News Corp journalist, Shannon Molloy, volunteering at the NSW Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby was a conflict of interest. Michael Barnett and Jill Stark weigh in with their perspectives.
