On this episode of The Informer, we head to Newcastle in NSW, with the news that the Gateway Hotel, the only LGBTIQ venue in the region, is rebranding into an inclusive space for all, with a change of name and direction.

We get our sport on at the announcement of the inagural AFL Womens Pride Game in Round 4, which will see the Western Bulldogs and Carlton Football Club go head to head.

And we ask members of our community, do we really need to be concerned about the Australian Conservatives Party, or is it all just a lot of hot air?
